Owned by Britt and Paulette Raburn, the lumberyard was originally founded by three brothers who were dairy farmers. Paulette’s father took over the business in 1945 until he passed away in 1975. At that point, Britt decided to continue leading the business. Over the decades, the lumberyard has expanded to include residential and commercial construction supplies, as well as remodeling design services and exterior projects. The next generation—daughter Jessica and husband Jim Mormino—have joined the business, and they look forward to carrying on the family tradition into the next century. The tagline “Hometown Pride” means as much today as it did back in 1921.
